I started my Cambodia trip by spending 2 days in Phnom Penh, the capital city. I learned about Cambodia's culture and history by visiting several museums. I found it especially useful to have a guide on The Killing Field and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) Tour.

Siem Reap
Siem Reap, the gateway to the famed Angkor Archaeological Park, was my next stop. I spent 3 days here exploring temple ruins. I took a guided tour, 2-Day Temples with Sunrise Small Group Tour of Siem Reap. The tour made visiting the park seamless and our guide provided lots of historical context. The ruins were impressive and I definitely recommend visiting!

Luang Prabang
After a quick flight, I spent 3 days in Luang Prabang in northern Laos. Walking along the water in the mornings was super peaceful and the town was beautiful. There were lots of good food options, including sit down restaurants and street food at the night market. I took a day tour, 1 DAY Mekong Cruise to Pak Ou Caves. Kuang Si Waterfalls . Local Villages, which was an easy and efficient way to see the nearby sights. I really enjoyed my time in Luang Prabang and wish I had more time to spend in Laos!
