London
I was in London, the capital of England, for two weeks. This was my third time in London, so I skipped a lot of the main tourist attractions and mostly focused on trying new food and neighborhood walks. There were many rainy days, so I usually spent the rainy days in London and went on day trips when the sky was clear.

Brighton
Brighton was definitely one of the highlights of my UK trip! This vibrant seaside town south of London had tons of eclectic shops and street art. It was too cold to swim, but walking along the water was beautiful and the pier was fun to explore.

Cambridge
Cambridge is known for its famous university. I took a walking tour of the university, learning more about the various colleges and campus buildings. I took a snack break at Fitzbillies, a bakery known for its famous Chelsea bun. There was also lots of cool shopping and various campus landmarks to explore while walking around.

Cardiff
Cardiff is the capital of Wales. I took a free walking tour where I learned about the history of the city. There was a lot to do here, from exploring shopping arcades and museums to wandering Bute Park and Cardiff Bay. Sadly, I missed the Cardiff Market since it was closed on Sundays, but I was able to get delicious welsh cakes at Fabulous Welshcakes.

Oxford
Oxford is another city famous for its university. I started the day checking out some of the free museums on campus. I took a walking tour to learn more about the university and campus landmarks. The Covered Market had good food and shopping.

York
York is a historic medieval city famous for Gothic architecture and well-preserved city walls. I had fun walking around here, starting with the city interior and moving on to the city walls. This was another trip highlight, as there were a lot of cool sights and food to try.
