Vienna and Bratislava
Vienna
I spent 4 days in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The architecture was very impressive, as were the palaces and gardens. The city is sprawling, but public transit made it easy to get around. I had a great time exploring the city while taking breaks at the many beautiful cafes. Austria is known for food, and I was able to sample a lot of it (Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn were my favorite dishes).

Bratislava
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is a short train ride away from Vienna, which made it a perfect day trip. I started the day at Konditorei Kormuth, a historical patisserie with amazing cakes and an ornate interior. Afterwards, I did a walking tour to efficiently explore the main landmarks. The city was small, so one day was the perfect amount to spend here. Overall, it was a really fun place to visit!
